Thursdays with Cheeky Rox: Cruelty Free Dental Hygiene from Tom’s of Maine!
Dental hygiene is super important to me. They always say, “A tooth in your head is more valuable than a diamond!” and I completely agree. I’ve been on the hunt for all-natural dental hygiene products for a while now. I’ve mainly been looking for products that leave my teeth feeling fresh and clean without the added chemicals and additives that most commercial toothpastes contain nowadays. I’m happy to say that I totally found what I was looking for from Tom’s of Maine. Tom’s of Maine creates some amazing cruelty-free hygiene products including deodorant, soap, body wash and of course, toothpaste and dental floss!
I’ve really been enjoying the Tom’s of Maine Antiplaque Dental Floss. It has a thicker texture than the floss I was previously using, but it’s a flat floss so it can really get into the nooks and crannies of my pearly whites! The Antiplaque Floss has a slight spearmint scent that’s pleasant and not too overpowering. I love that the floss itself is made of naturally waxed nylon filaments that provide a gentle and effective clean. They don’t fray easily and I think the product will last me a long time!
Tom’s of Maine has several different lines of toothpaste, but I’ve been using the Whole Care Toothpaste in Peppermint. The Whole Care toothpaste line is designed to do it all! It fights cavities, prevents plaque, freshens breath and whitens! I’ve really been liking this toothpaste because my teeth always feel super clean after using it and I feel good about the natural ingredients in the product. Most of the time, whitening toothpastes are filled with nasty chemicals, but this one uses natural silicas to boost the whitening power! The peppermint flavor is subtle, but leaves my breath feeling nice and refreshed. I’ve noticed that my teeth retain that “just-brushed” feeling for hours and hours thanks to the pleasant peppermint flavor and plaque-preventing qualities that the toothpaste has. YAY for fresh breath and clean teeth!
As you can tell, I’m a huge fan of these cruelty free dental hygiene products from Tom’s of Maine. They’re gentle, effective, safe and all natural – what more could you ask for? 🙂
I personally prefer Jason’s because it not only has no fluoride, it also contains no SLS. Both of which I try and avoid.

Looks Great toothpaste and dental floss! Cruelty free is the biggest plus point of these dental care products!
