Thursdays with Cheeky Rox: Kat Von D Serpentina Palette Review & Tutorial
Kat Von D has added another gorgeous eyeshadow palette to her extensive line of cruelty free makeup! Yay! The Kat Von D Serpentina Palette is brand new and definitely a hot product on the market right now! The palette contains eight pressed eyeshadows and one loose pigment. I’ve always been a huge fan of Kat Von D’s makeup line and as soon as I saw the deep, jewel-toned shades I knew this palette would be fun to play around with!

The shimmers are composed of lots of colorful jewel tones that are simply stunning. When I saw the palette, I absolutely fell in love with the shade Scarab! How gorgeous is that deep teal?! Kat Von D did include two neutral shimmer shades. Medusa is a dark champagne gold and Ankh is a black with gold shimmer. Even the neutrals have incredible pigmentation. I honestly love all six shimmers and cannot wait to create fun looks with them!
The two matte shades are Venom and Bloodmilk. Venom is a true purple and Bloodmilk is a deep, wine-red. Bloodmilk instantly caught my eye – it’s one of the most beautiful reds I’ve ever seen! The formula of the matte shades is a bit more patchy than the shimmer shades, but you can definitely work around it. I usually use a flat synthetic eyeshadow brush to pack on the shadow and that seems to help a lot!

If you’re looking to add a little color into your life, I totally recommend the Kat Von D Serpentina Palette. There’s lots of color but the shades are still very wearable and unique. If you want to see my full review and tutorial, just watch the video below!

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this palette!!
